These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Gezgo mobile application and all related features, content and services (the "App" or the "Service") provided by Gezgo App ("Gezgo", "we", "us").
By downloading, creating an account for, or using the App, you represent that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of the Service
Gezgo is a travel-planning app that lets you plan city-based trip routes, create AI-powered day-by-day itineraries, view the countries you have visited on a map and globe, save favorite places, discover travel-guide and blog content, and get weather information for your trips.
Key features of the App:
- Route planning: Create and edit multi-day itineraries with stops and transport details.
- AI route generation: Day-by-day itineraries suggested by artificial intelligence based on your preferences.
- World map / globe: Visualization of visited countries (both automatically derived from completed trips and "self-reported" countries you add yourself).
- Discover / blog feed: Travel guides, tips and content.
- Favorites and social import: Saving places and importing places from links (e.g. Instagram/TikTok).
- Weather: Forecasts via Apple WeatherKit for trips with set dates.
- External navigation: Opening directions in external apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps or Yandex Navi.
You may use the App as a guest without creating an account; some features (favorites, sync, content tied to your account) require you to sign in.
2. Eligibility and Account
- To use the App you must be of legal age or act with the consent of your legal guardian. The App is not directed to persons under the age of 13 (or the minimum age applicable in your country).
- If you choose to create an account, you may use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. In doing so, information such as your name and email address may be shared with us.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and login credentials. You agree that you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You represent that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Route Generation and Usage Limits
- AI route generation automatically produces day-by-day trip suggestions through our servers. Suggestions are validated and ordered on your device using map services.
- Free users are granted a limited number of lifetime AI route generations (by default a total of 3 generations; this limit may be updated by us). You acknowledge that this allotment is not daily, but a total (lifetime) quota.
- Gezgo Pro subscribers enjoy unlimited AI route generation.
- Content generated by the AI is for information and suggestion purposes only. Its accuracy, timeliness or suitability is not guaranteed. You must independently verify all information — including opening/business hours, prices, safety, accessibility and travel conditions — before your trip. You are solely responsible for the travel decisions you make.
4. Gezgo Pro Subscriptions and Payments
- The App offers a paid subscription called Gezgo Pro with additional features. Pro-only features include (without limitation) unlimited AI route generation, route optimization, social import, adding "self-reported" visited countries, "suggest for this day", and unlimited saved routes. Certain limits, such as the number of saved routes, may apply to free users (by default 5 saved routes; this limit may be updated).
- Subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store via in-app purchase (through RevenueCat). Plans such as weekly, monthly and yearly may be offered; current prices are shown on the purchase screen.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically and are charged unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal fee is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Management and cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store account settings on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are subject to Apple's applicable policies and are requested directly through Apple.
- The App provides a "Restore Purchases" option.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App in any unlawful, deceptive way or in a manner that infringes the rights of others;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers or connected systems, reverse-engineer them, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or quota mechanisms;
- Send excessive requests by automated means or otherwise abuse the Service;
- Distribute malware through the App or disrupt other users' experience;
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others in the content you add to the App.
If you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to your account and the Service.
6. User Content
- You own the content you enter into the App, such as trip plans, favorites, visited countries and imported links.
- You grant us permission to store, process and display this content solely to provide the Service to you, sync it across your devices, and operate the features.
- When you import social media links (e.g. Instagram/TikTok), you represent that you have the right to access and use the relevant content and that you comply with the terms of the third-party platforms.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses or connects to third-party services and platforms, including:
- Apple services: App Store, Sign in with Apple, WeatherKit (weather), Apple Maps / MapKit.
- Google: Sign in with Google and/or Google Maps routing.
- RevenueCat: subscription and purchase management.
- External apps: Apple Maps, Google Maps, Yandex Navi for directions.
- Gezgo servers (
api.gezgo.app): route generation, trip sync, blog/discover content and configuration.
These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their use. Weather data is provided through Apple Weather, and the applicable Apple Weather terms of use may apply.
8. Location and Permissions
- The App may request your location (while in use) to determine trip start/end points and provide related features. You can change the location permission from your device settings at any time.
- The App may send notifications to deliver information and updates to you. You can turn off notifications from your device settings.
9. Privacy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you also accept the Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your account and associated data from within the App ("Delete Account").
10. Intellectual Property
The App — including its software, design, brand, logo, text and other content — belongs to Gezgo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
11. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available". No express or implied warranty is given that it will operate uninterrupted, error-free or securely.
- The accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content — including route suggestions, weather, place information, opening hours and travel data — is not guaranteed.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. It is your responsibility to verify information from independent sources before making your travel plans and decisions.
12. Changes to and Termination of the Service
- We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate the App, its features, or its quotas/limits at any time.
- We may terminate your account and access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account from within the App at any time.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes we will try to provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Republic of Türkiye. Your rights under consumer legislation are reserved.
